Event and conference photography at the World Forum in The Hague

I am a professional conference photographer based in The Hague. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to capture many multi-day events at the World Forum. The venue is one of the city’s most iconic and certainly the largest conference location. With its spacious halls, modern architecture and 37 breakout rooms, it’s a fantastic place for events and international congresses.

During a recent international conference, I documented everything from keynote sessions and panel discussions to networking moments, side meetings and evening receptions. I even worked with an additional photographer to cover all aspects of the event. My goal in this type of assignment is always to tell the story of the event as it unfolds. Showing the people, energy and purpose behind the program, with a focus on both participants and speakers.

Working as a Photographer at the World Forum

Working at the World Forum requires flexibility and experience. The lighting differs significantly from room to room. From bright stage spots in the main hall to dim breakout areas with blue or colored lights. Careful editing afterwards is essential to deliver consistent, high-quality results. I prepare thoroughly and work efficiently. Over the past decade, I’ve photographed many events at the World Forum and also created images for the venue itself. For example, photographing fully prepared rooms before the start of conferences. These images were later used by the World Forum for their own promotional materials. Being based in The Hague and photographing conferences since 2008, I know most event venues in the city very well.
